Biography

Jason Rivas, an accomplished makeup artist based in Los Angeles, has carved a niche for himself in the dynamic world of beauty and fashion. His journey began in 2009 at Make-up Designory in Burbank, California, where he quickly mastered the art of makeup. This foundation led him to prestigious opportunities in film, runway, and editorial work.

 

During the formative years of his career, Jason gained invaluable experience and insight while working with esteemed brands such as Bobbi Brown, CHANEL, and Burberry, serving as a makeup specialist. It was here that his passion and expertise in both fashion and beauty truly blossomed.

 

Jason's talent for creating captivating looks has been showcased in high-profile music videos. He has worked with renowned director Hannah Lux Davis on projects like Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” and Lil Pump’s “Drug Addict.” His more recent contributions include music videos such as Khalid’s “Eleven” ft. Summer Walker, Ava Max’s “Kings & Queens,” and “Who’s Laughing Now,” directed by Isaac Crentz. Beyond the realm of music videos, Jason has collaborated with noted photographers like Sequoia Emmanuelle and Art Crook. His exceptional work has also been featured in well-known publications like Paper Magazine and Lady Gunn Magazine.
